Please note – if you do not have the guide or do not adhere to their step by step instructions you will not be able to assemble the platform and frame. The person constructing the scaffold tower should be competent in doing so and PASMA training is recommended to anyone who builds, inspects and dismantles mobile scaffolding platforms.

The current manufacturers BoSS product standards are EN1004:2004 (European) or BSEN1004:2004 (UK) for portable scaffolding platforms made from prefabricated elements.

We have two main categories:

Single Width (1 scaffold board wide)

Double Width (2 boards wide)

These widths then come in two different lengths either 1.8m or 2.5m.

Then our scaffold towers come in various heights which start from 1.2m and reach a maximum height of 12.2m (these measurements go up in increments of 500mm at a time).

The maximum height a mobile platform can reach to provide a safe working platform is 12m high, if you require access that exceeds this height then it is recommended that you should have traditional static steel scaffolds erected by a professional scaffolding company who employs qualified scaffolders.

It is urged that scaffold towers should always be inspected on a regular basis to ensure safety. Any platform that has been outside in the elements including high winds and heavy rain should also be inspected before anyone uses them.

Also, if the scaffolding tower is altered in any way it needs to be inspected before use. This is to ensure the scaffold tower itself has not become unstable or structurally unsafe.
