The diameter of the scaffold tubes we sell are the same regardless of the length, they are type 4 which means the outside diameter is 48.3mm and it has a wall thickness of 4mm.
Our scaffold tubes are made from galvanised steel which makes them extremely strong and durable. In terms of measurements the working load that a steel scaffold tube can carry is approximately 79kN (kilonewton) which is roughly 8 tonnes. This is centred on the area of a 48.3 external diameter with a thickness of 4mm.
All of the scaffold tubes that we supply are made from the finest galvanised steel and are manufactured to British standards BS EN 39 which ensures a high-quality tube that is robust and safe. They are hot dipped in zinc to give each tube a protective covering to prevent rust and corrosion. Our scaffold tubes are extremely hardy and can take any type of weathering.

Once you are happy with our price we will raise you an invoice. We accept payment via bank transfer or Paypal (with 4% extra added to the total price to cover fees). Funds must be cleared in our account before we are able to confirm a date for your tube to be delivered.
Our transportation costs vary as it depends on where you are based and how many tubes you are taking, however on average our transport costs start from £25 and can rise to £60+. We will provide you with detailed costings when you request a quote.
Yes, unfortunately we have to add a minimum order quantity to our tubes as it is not very cost effective for us to deliver 1 or 2 tubes at a time, unless you are wlling to pay extortionate carriage charges. Here is our list below of what the minimum order is for each different length of tube:
